A bit of where we come from and who we are today:
Hermanus Animal Hospital is the oldest veterinary practice in the Overberg. It started 40 years ago as part of Caledon Veterinary Hospital and has grown since to be the largest animal hospital in Hermanus. Owned by Dr Sandy Waddingham, Hermanus Animal Hospital presently consists of two practices: the main practice and animal hospital situated in central Hermanus, and a smaller practice in Onrus at the Trading Post shopping center. Both practices also have a shop where clients can buy veterinary-quality pet food, toys and treats, bedding, grooming accessories etc. We invite everyone to come and visit us at either of the practices!
Services and special interests:
Hermanus Animal Hospital offers an extensive and complete range of services to help you care for your beloved pet. We treat dogs, cats, birds and horses on a daily basis and are also privileged to have a lot of exotic animals as our patients, as well as sheep and cattle. At Hermanus Animal Hospital we practice both conventional and complementary veterinary medicine, and offer a variety of alternative therapies. We are also proud to boast veterinarians with equine special interest and small animal surgery special interest. For our full range of services, please see the SERVICES page.
